I have got to say I love how this layout came out!!! I think this is possibly my favorite one so far this month! I was working on a challenge made by Jennifer @ http://www.littleredscrapbook.com/ to use our Cricut machines this weekend.. Of course I have the Cricut and never seem to use it. It's not because I have to pull it out either, I have a great place all set up for it and everything. So I created this Flower pot using the "Walk in my Garden" cartridge, and of course remembered why I bought this machine in the first place!!! and why I collect those cartridges too. I used the LRS kit (don't remember what month) but It featured the October Afternoon papers. I used my Quickutz borders (which I will pull out more frequently than the cricut) and some Making Memories Scrapbook paint on the chipboard flowers... whoooo hoooo used up some stash. Of course I had to have a birdie too, so I hand cut this little one out.
For those of you who know me you know my dream trip is to Ireland. Kerry and I went to the brunch at the Hollywood Casino and this Pub is next door, I just love the lettering on the wall between the windows, for now this is the closest I can get to my dream.. local Irish pubs.
Oh boy today was a great bird stalking day!! I was happy to see 3 Blue Jays visit the feeders. Usually I get a token one every once in a blue moon.. but today there were 3 looked kind of younger ones so maybe I can entice them to come back again, this one came and went for awhile and I was able to sit outside and read, patiently waiting to capture him. TaDA!!
Well last night I cleaned up my scrap/craft room and cleared off my table. I did go to Hobby Lobby and purchase a couple of the ruler boxes for my border dies and they work out just fine, I got 2 colors one for Quickutz and other for Sizzix. I think I will check out another Hobby Lobby for another color to put my 4 x 8 alphas. Weather was hot humid and hotter this weekend. Summer finally came, we put the a/c on for the 2nd time... figured it was better than sweltering inside.. lol
I am getting so excited for my vacation. I can't wait to take tons of family pictures and New England mountains, beaches.. :-) I left room in a mini I was making for my mil for Christmas so I can add photos of our trip and the cabin in Vermont. I know she will love it..
Until next time!

Great, great job on this one Lorry! I can see why it is your fav! I don't have a Cricut but I keep toying with the idea of making the investment. Of course, when I see super cute things you can do with them (aka, your LO) then I want one all the more. Maybe for Christmas???
